What can we do now to protect our tax dollars?
Stop the flow of money in the hiring of our representatives, a corrupting influence that has cost the people more than they know, and that ends when the people end it.
It's counterproductive to honest, free, and fair elections. Everyone is expected to kick in or tolerate non-stop begging from wealthy members of Congress whose benefit packages exceed those of some of the wealthiest corporations. And serves only to force the attention of our officials away from the priorities of the job and the business of government and divert it to begging wealthy connected donors for cash to get elected, a ridiculous way to spend time that should have been used solving the affordability, misinformation entertainment broadcasting stations posing as legitimate, trustworthy news outlets. Or real immigration enforcement that tackled the employers and industries that rely on human trafficking and violating USA employment laws by importing victims who can't speak our language, increasing poverty, drug abuse and alcoholism. Or ignorance, or the gutting of our law enforcement, our FBI, our DOJ, our White House, our rule of law, or improving education, ridding our communities of gangs, drugs, and crime syndicates. Making living wages and benefits that match and mirror those given to government workers, eliminating discrepancies among most working-class citizens in the US.
